Happy Halloween!

Today I finished reading Life of Pi. That book blows my mind. It's disturbing, but it's so amazing.
Ellen dressed up as Sophia Vergara for Halloween.
I am trying to convince myself that I can, in fact, conquer Les Miserables. Watching this trailer helps.
I'm probably going to watch It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (I love Peanuts!), and maybe a spooky movie, since, yanno, it's Halloween and all. Maybe I'll try to summon the spirit of a dead ficus.

What are y'all up to for this Halloween?

Love,
Scout

Does this mean you are going to be reading Les Miserables? OMG.. such a great book. Its been years since I've read it, but I loved it!! Sounds like I need to dive into Life of Pi next! :)

Yes it does! At least, I hope to. I have a bad habit of not finishing books (although I've greatly improved this year), so we'll see how it goes.
And, while I highly recommend Life of Pi, I will say - be warned. It's rough. Amazing and mind blowing, but rough.

Hahaha I love the things you link us to. Strongbad is great. We don't really celebrate Halloween here, but one of my housemates and her 9 year old daughter went out trick or treating, I'm not sure if there was many lollies gained though.

Courtney - I'm glad you like Homestar :) And what kind of holidays does Australia have?

Lindsay - of course you like Peanuts and Homestar! You have great taste. Also, the Peanuts Christmas special is basically my favorite thing ever. Or at least my favorite Christmas special.

Taylor - We didn't have too bad a time. And it didn't interfere with our Halloween because we don't usually do anything (it's so lame!).
