Yesterday a Cow, Today a Mouse

Somehow, my grandparents managed to catch a teeny tiny, inch-long mouse. I don't think I've ever seen anything so cute. But, I also think regular sized mice are pretty cute (although once they get past, I dunno, three inches, is when they start to be gross). Anyway, we put it in a bucket, fed it some cheese and oats - it really liked the cheese, and then I walked it down the road some to release it. I wouldn't leave, though, so I ended up walking away to let it calm down some and leave when it felt safe.

This little guy was about half the size of my thumb.

Love,
Scout

P.S. Anyone going to see The Hunger Games tonight?

Oh how cute! He's precious :) Did you name him?

I'm going to see The Hunger Games with some of my co-workers on Sunday afternoon. Are you going to see it tonight/tomorrow/Saturday? I'm worried about it being too violent (having read the books, I think that's a fair concern), so if you do see it, would you mind letting me know if it's pretty predictable when it's going to be violent and I can shut my eyes? :)

I didn't name him. I considered it, but didn't try too hard because I knew my family wouldn't let me keep it and didn't want to be sad.

I really want to go and see it! I was going to go with my friend but she's got to do lots of prep for her teaching job so I'll have to see if she's free next week (I found you via Today's Letters)

Haha. There's a crazy Fist Pump Friday picture of me up today. Thanks for stopping by, Han!
I'll probably see the movie next week, too.

oh my gosh! he's SO cute! I'm totally with you about how any mice bigger than a few inches automatically become super-gross! hah!

How cute! I love little mice. We had a bunch that somehow got into our house and my dad was going to set traps, but I didn't want to kill the mice, so I caught them. It took a bit of time, but not as much as one might expect, and I caught them all by hand our by shoo-ing them into trashcans, etc (over the course of several days... there were 4). I wanted to keep them, but decided releasing them into the wild was better. They were awfully cute, though.
