The Tadpoles are Growing Up

Most of the tadpoles have tiny legs. One of them is a tiny toad.
The flailing one there in the corner? That's the toad. I like to call him Robin, after Kermit's nephew

Those are ants crawling around him, by the way - just in case the dime wasn't a good enough indicator of exactly how tiny he is.

Love,
Scout

Him just chilling out on the dime is awesome. What a cool dude.

Wow, I guess I never really realized how small they start out! The dime shots are so cool!

And I love the Robin reference :) Did you ever see the Muppets Frog Prince movie when you were a kid?

Sally - No, I didn't! Man, I love the Muppets, though. I'll have to keep my eyes out for it.

The difference between frogs / toads in Australia and in America freaks me out! They are very similar, yet so so different. Great shots :)
