Geese

I really wish I had a digital camera. It'd be nice to be able to take pictures of everything and not worry about the cost.

Today I saw the most beautiful thing. I was looking up at the sky - it was bright blue with whispy white clouds feathered across it. Then three Vs of geese flew across in long, dark silhouettes. It was absolutely gorgeous.
I kind of love geese :)

Do you know why, when they fly, one side of the V is longer than the other?

I will tell you.
Because there are more geese on that side! :D

Gotcha.

Well, actually, there is a reason. I've always heard that it was because they switch out the front goose, 'cause she gets tired, and goes to the end of the line (where it's easiest to fly)... and that makes one side longer.

I love to hear the geese honking as they fly by. It annoys Bailey to no end when I turn the radio off and open the windows to listen. Bet you can picture the look on her face!
