Snapshots

Trying to get through 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. I really like it, but it's also very technical, at least at the beginning, so it's hard to read it for very long.

Fresh herbs to use when cooking!

Said fresh herbs incorporated into caprese salad. Read about it here!

Beautiful stormy weather. I love the yellow of the trees next to the dark mountains.

I didn't have anything to do at work, so I drew this.

Miscellaneous other doodles done at work.

Someone made basketball shaped goldfish. I'm sorry, but I think that is a terrible idea. Goldfish can't even play basketball!

We have about a million tadpoles living in our pool cover. I like frogs and toads, but tadpoles are kind of gross.

Lilacs to make our house look pretty.

One of my favorite vegetables.

A steaming cup of green tea.

Summer shadows

And a bad day of sewing.

Love,
Scout

Thanks so much, you guys! The veggies are to make up for all the meat I ate last week. Also, I love doodling - I'm getting back into drawing some, so I'll probably save more.
Finally, Andrea, thanks! I love summer lighting :)

I really like it, but I'm having such a hard time getting through it! I don't understand all the technical details they keep going into about The Nautilus.

Just want to say, I'm really impressed by how well you write, take photos, and manage your blog. Way to go, Scout. You do it well.
